As a convention delegate you have received the “one person one vote” memo from our Chairman, Jerry Labriola – I’ve attached a copy to this email. I was very pleased to see that Jerry clarified and reinforced what has been at the very core of our Party; the principle that everyone is entitled to his or her vote without undue influence, pressure or coercion – practices perhaps more worthy of Democrats than the Party of Lincoln.

What are we afraid of?

It seems every year many stalwarts decry Primaries as divisive, hurting our chances of victory in November by attacking each other and wasting valuable campaign funds.  I would agree with them that, when the process is used as a cudgel to bludgeon each other the lingering effects bleed into the general election. But perhaps we are missing an opportunity… not wasting resources?
